Help? Reward for information.

I found this card while pursuing blogs. This card is sold at Fenwicks on bond street in London. If you notice, the Matryoska doll used on the card happens to be my illustration that someone else has used, and put a snowflake onto. I've been searching the web forever trying to find the company who produced this card so I can kindly tell them not to use my copyrighted illustrations on their future products, but since it looks like it was made in the UK I'm having trouble tracking down the company. If any of my readers recognize this card and could point me the right direction. I would really appreciate it! I try hard to protect my copyrighted images, as I've worked hard on them, and when other companies use them without my permission it ruins my credibility as an artist. I've gotten several emails in the past of people accusing me of stealing artwork from other companies, when in fact it was a larger company stealing my artwork. It is a difficult and expensive process to prove that I in fact created the artwork first, which is why I try so hard to protect my illustrations.
Thanks so much for any help you can provide! I would be happy to send some free vinyl to anyone who can provide me with useful information.

  1. Would it not be easiest to just contact Fenwicks and ask them who they purchased them from explaining the reasons you need to know.

  2. I did send them a note, however, as I've learned in the past... large retailers such as Fenwicks don't often send any answers for questions like mine.

  11. That is a terrible thing when others take things that don't belong to them, but are you sure it's your image? I was just comparing them and the hair, eyes mouth are not identical at all. There is no tie under the "chin" either. Hoping for the best that your image wasn't stolen and that someone else just had the same great idea.

It is very similar to yours. Just different design on the belly and different hair and eyelashes...but so does the one you found to.
    I hope this helps.

Thank you also for explaining *why* it makes such a huge difference when people steal others' work. ((hugs)) to you & good luck!
