DIY Cupcake Stands

I just added these new DIY wooden cupcake stands to the shop. If you are in the Salt Lake area, I'll also be teaching a class on how to put these together this month.

Pinterest Party

My friend is having a Pinterest party. We are going to exchange gifts we made from Pinterest White Elephant style. I made this bow garland, but I'm still deciding if this is what I'm going to bring to the exchange or If I should make something else.

Craft Lake City

2012 Valentines Day Cards

This year, I'm having this printed onto a 6" x 4" photo from Wal-Mart (9 cents per photo). Then, I'll cut the card into 2 pieces for my kids to hand out to their friends & class-mates. My older daughter will write the names of whom she is giving the Valentine to, in the red heart area.

Total price for 64 cute & customized valentines: $2.88. They can also be used as bookmarks for Grandparents.

If you have any photo editing software on your computer, this is a fun way to save money on Valentine cards this year.

Adding color for a dollar

I found a box of these sequin balls at Pier 1 in the Christmas clearance section ($1). They were easy to string & perfect for my New Year mantel decor.
