Interior design inspiration

My husband and I are building a new house. My husband is the general contractor on the house, which means a TON of work. It also means we can customize the house however we'd like for a lot less than if someone else built the house for us. For example, we purchased a $2,000+ brand new chandelier for $25. We bought it from a Reception center that accidentally bought one too many chandeliers and didn't end up needing or using the extra one. We also got a $2,500 cement fireplace for $200. It has a few cracks in it (which is why we got such a fantastic deal) but those can be easily fixed. We should start sheet rocking next week... so prepare yourselves for some interior design posts as I get ready to design the inside of our new home. I'll leave you with some inspiration I've been collecting. *Feel free to leave any links to your own inspiration in the comments below. :)

Great inspiration! Congrats on building the new house. It's a ton of work, but also a ton of fun and the end product is so rewarding:o)

Do you have the photo credit for the olive colored office? I am in love with the floral chair...I want two for my sitting room!
